I can't believed we missed this short which premiered at the last SXSW, but thanks to the Avery Mining Corp, here it is. A dark little vignette, the story revolves around three men and there last days in a bookstore before civilization ends.
In the distant future, a bottle is found deep inside the rain forests of Southeast Asia. Its contents unlock the secret of what happened to three men in a bookstore at the end of civilization, and their attempt to live on.

At the risk of sounding like an Unwashed Heathen this seems a little artsy for me any thoughts from the wastelands? (No I don’t mean Zombies, flesh eating Aliens, and car wrecks)

Well, surely it fits the theme of the site, being about the end of civilization and all. It doesn't look that artsy to me. It looks relatively straight forward when you compare it to other films profiled on the site, Baby Jesus of Flandr comes to mind. Seems like an interesting idea, but when it comes to library flicks I am set on seeing the film 1, based on Lem's work most of all.
