After playing the name game after we first reported on this upcoming Canuck PA flick we got a few good responses, one of them NOT being The Road. (Are you friggin serious?) I don't think certain people liked that too much but too bad, it was fun.

We now have the first stills from the film, and while looking mighty purdy as it's shot on the Red, I'm still not seeing much. I hope this lives up to what director Justin McConnell promised on a comment on the original post.

In the wake of the end of the world, a family of four desperately tries to survive against insurmountable odds. Their goal: escaping the city and traveling to the rural community they once called home, Dover's Bend.

The constant threat of a violent death forcing them to stay as far away from civilization as possible, they take to the forest, soon to discover the danger posed by other survivors may be the least of their worries.

Stills after the break.

Starts festival run in 2011, probably release date same year. We'll see once we're done post how distribution will shake out.
