If you haven't heard by now, Ayoade's debut feature has made quite a splash at TIFF and was picked up by Weinstein in a late night bidding war, and now, we have our first look.

British comic Richard Ayoade delivers his hotly-anticipated feature debut Submarine. One boy must fight to save his mother from the advances of a mystic and simultaneously lure his eczema-strafed girlfriend in to the bedroom armed with only a vast vocabulary and near-total self-belief. His name is Oliver Tate.

This looks bloody awesome, thank f**k for British comedy. That 2nd clip was priceless. As was the third. And let's not forget the 4th... well it was all good.

Sterile and humourless. The direction leaves a lot to be desired. pity

Wow, these clips make me SO NOT WANT TO SEE THIS! Amazing how these movies can be so acclaimed and they're just pathetic shite.
