Jonathan Sehring, President of IFC Films, announced today that the company has acquired the North American rights to Tom Six’s much anticipated sequel THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE PART 2 (FULL SEQUENCE) for its IFC Midnight label. FULL SEQUENCE has just wrapped shooting in London, and the story is being kept completely under wraps. The only information IFC Films and the producers are revealing is that this time there is a new villain on the scene named Martin, and that the premise is 100% medically inaccurate!
Jonathan Sehring commented, “IFC Films had so much fun with the release of FIRST SEQUENCE, we loved watching audiences squirm in their seats as the film set a new standard in the horror genre. We are thrilled to be bringing the horrifying experience of FULL SEQUENCE to American audiences through our theatrical and VOD platforms. We look forward to CONNECTING this film to an even bigger audience.”
Tom Six commented, “I like to say PART ONE is like My Little Pony compared to the film we are editing now. IFC Films has been such an incredible partner… I can only hope that they won’t be so disgusted that they try to get out of this new deal.”
IFC Films will be releasing THE HUMAN CENTIPEDE PART 2 (FULL SEQUENCE) in 2011.

Tom Six attempts to justify his work as 'Art'. However, it shares similar subject matter to a multitude of extreme pornography to be found in the darkest corners of the internet. We do not hear their creators making similar justifications for their work. Yes, some supporters of HC2 will elevate Six as a master of the horror genre. However, Six has enabled some members of that audience demographic to unlock a portal to previously repressed areas of their unconscious (ie scatological and sado-masochistic fantasies) and to experience the on-screen portrayal of their fantasies in 'Human Centipede II' in a much more 'acceptable' form, the Horror film genre, rather than the less acceptable 'Scat Movie'. Six is a grand exploiter of both his potential audience and those novice actors/actresses he employs, actors/actresses who see this work as a 'stepping stone' to bigger things - much in the same way that porn starlets see their initial onscreen debut as the start of a potentially glowing career in mainstream cinema. A sad state of affairs created by that 'master of the genre', Tom Six...
