movie trailer news thriller drama crime 
There’s been little news about Rowan Joffe's adaptation of Brighton Rock since September when we posted the first clip from the film. It wasn’t much to go on but it did suggest a dark, violent thriller and with a cast which includes Helen Mirren and the ubber talented Sam Riley, I was eager to see the film.
Now that a trailer for the film is floating around the interwebs, I’m even more excited to see how dark this story is going to get. The first trailer is much in line with your typical trailer, overselling the relationship while suggesting at the violence, but it’s very dark which plays nicely with the film’s dark subject matter. It helps a great deal that Riley looks like he could kill you with his pinky.
