Sony may have supported a limited release of Vincenzo Natali's amazing Cronenberg-esque creature feature, Splice, this year, but they sure as hell didn't do much to make us want their home video release. With no commentary and nary a documentary in sight, it is pretty bare bones.

Thanks to the power of the interwebs, I have discovered that the French DVD of the film includes way more stuff including a feature commentary from the director, which turns this film into a must own as far as I'm concerned.

You can read our reviews of splice here and here.

Learn more about the French DVD and Blu-ray, but be warned it IS region 2.
