REDD is an indie twist on the classic fairy tale that's set in a post-apocalyptic future (i.e. the forest) where a village is terrorized by evil creatures and giant beasts that now inhabit the nearby forest. A mysterious young girl in a red cloak wages war on the evil in the forest to save the village, using her wit, her courage, and whole lot of guns.
The short will be used to raise money to create the full length feature film version.
Writer/director Patrick A. Prejusa says "to get a better idea of the feel and inspiration of the movie, think of Army Of Darkness, Six String Samurai, Yojimbo, Road Warrior, and Aeon Flux".

Powerhouse acting, riveting characters, and a dramatic screenplay that pulls audiences in with it's creative intrigue, emotional depth, and visually stunning imagery. The werewolves alone set a new bar of excellence for films like Underworld to keep pace with.
