I still haven't quite figured out what the deal is with Darren Lynn Bousman. He directed a couple of Saw sequels and made a really crummy horror musical. I will give him a little credit for Repo! The Genetic Opera because though it may not be great, I appreciate that he went out and did what he wanted to do.
For a while now Bousman has been working on 11-11-11 which plays up Uri Geller's examples of 11:11 phenomenon and plays off the idea that there are folks in the world who are constantly running into 11:11 prompts that, apparently, suggest that you've got some world saving hidden talents. It’s all a little shady but Bousman has figured this is as good a premise as any for his upcoming film which adds in the extra 11 for a stronger supernatural twist.
11-11-11 is a horror-thriller set on 11:11 on the 11th day of the 11th month which opens some sort of 11th gate from which an entity from another realm enters our world and from the look of the teaser, to scare us into submission or something. Sadly, not only is this teaser not creepy, it’s actually a little laughable. I like the supernatural bend to this story but I have a feeling this could be another miss for Bousman (though I’m happy to be proven wrong).
Teaser after the break.

This reminds me of The Number 23, minus Jim Carey. This better be good!

Looks like it could be pretty good.

in french, "bouse" is a cow shit and therefore a very bad movie. so "Bouseman" seems like a sort of super hero who makes only shitty movies. is he ?

Looks stupid. The premise itself is dumb. Hours & minutes are an arbitrary human creation. It's only 11:11 b/c we humans created a time measurement system that has a 24 hour clock. If 11:11 is so bad, does it still work if you're using a 24 hour system or only an am/pm system? To think that's there's anything supernatural about an artificial human creation is laughable.

Anything inspired in any way by Uri Geller is not getting any my money or attention.
