So Spaghetti Western legend, Franco Nero (Django) has spilled the beans on Quentin Tarantino’s next directorial feature. It seems the director of Kill Bill and Inglorious Basterds will finally make his homage to the Sergio Leone western and has cast Nero as the lead. Awesome.

Said Nero of the film: “The film will be called ‘The Angel, The Bad And The Wise’ and is a tribute to Sergio Leone. It’s a movie that contains humor, lots of action, but also a great plot. We have already been signed by a dozen people who will be part of project. Among the filmmakers involved include Quentin Tarantino, Keith Carradine, Treat Williams, fifteen people in all Americans who want to do this movie and so we are trying to produce it outside of Italy.”

It's no secret that Tarantino has always been a huge fan of Westerns and it's cool to think he's get to do one full-on. I'm not as big a fan of Tarantino as most are, but as a major Italian western fan myself, I must say it's exciting news and I look forward to seeing what the guy's cooking.

Can't wait to see this film. If it is anything like the movie Keoma with Franco Nero it will be amazing.

can't believe it....on a recent franco nero kick due to repressed crush from when first saw him in camelot...on the Nero hunt literally due to THAT performance which was basically overlooked. Fact is Nero stole the movie yet he was reviewed so poorly...wrong hollywoodness or jealous or something. anyway nero is overlooked so much by america in general. typically QT is the one to remind us of what really is cool 'cause we collectively don't know - we have to be shown and told
so I feel like QT you are following me and now Nero gets props. why is the system so antisomthing and pro the other....it takes QT to show them what's what. I'm one of those that already know because I don't need the approval of others. America is weird and eternally a day late and dollar short. Franco Nero rules but only silently because american's are so daft. shape up americans and follow your passions. afterall nero is passion in a person= since you missed him i know you missed youself
