The one-room thriller is taken to new heights (heh) in Panic Button, a movie about four unlucky contest winners forced to fight for their lives, as a horrifying game incites them to violence. Is this the future of social networking? If it is, there is no Esc!

Synopsis:
Four young people win a trip of a lifetime to New York, courtesy of their favourite social-networking website – All2gethr.com. As they board the private jet, they are asked to relinquish their mobile phones and take part in the in-flight entertainment – a new online gaming experience.

But this is no ordinary game. Trapped at 30,000 feet, they are forced to play for their lives and the lives of their loved ones by their invisible captor, who seems to know all their most intimate secrets.

With no escape and no one to trust, they are about to learn that putting your life on-line can have deadly offline consequences…

Panic Button is an indie directed by Chris Crow (Devil's Bridge) and is said to be released in 2011.

I think this one will be interesting. Unmanned planes and a Hal-like computer?? Yes please. -Mike

Seems more like a Saw premise than Battle Royale.
