Alex and David Pastor (Carriers) plan to return to the apocalyptic thriller grenre with The Last Days, a film set in Barcelona.
Apparently the Spanish language film has been pre-bought by Weinstein Co. cameras will roll on the project shortly.
Synopsis:
A mystery in the form of agoraphobia is expanding throughout the world, leaving all the people trapped in their homes.
While this social disorder ravaging Barcelona, Matthew will be separated from his pregnant girlfriend and he will initiate a fight through a city to gradually rescue his girl and her baby ... even if I have to go outside to do it" (Box Office).
I'm a big fan of Carriers, so this is good news.

5.5 million Euro film set to shoot in November, with delivery by fall 2012.
"Last Days" is set in year 2013.
