zombies movie news horror A trailer has finally arrived for Michael Bartlett and Kevin Gates' sequel to their sleeper hit The Zombie Diaries. Unfortunately it's not in the best shape, and I've been in contact with the team to try and get a better copy, but for now you can get a low-res taste of the horrors that await you.
Synopsis:
Three months have passed since a viral outbreak wiped out 99.9% of the world's population, turning its victims into flesh-eating living dead. In the UK a surviving band of soldiers and civilians have taken refuge at a rural military barracks. Life in this new world is tough and brutal, but hope appears when a high-level communication is received from a military base on the coast, telling of sanctuary elsewhere in Europe...
But just as salvation appears to be in reach, the base suffers an overwhelming defeat at the hands of the living dead! The surviving handful of troops and civilians must now make their way to the coast to uncover the truth behind the message. Their perilous journey takes them across a now treacherous, death-ravaged landscape, where the living dead are vast in number and wandering bandits impose their own malicious sense of law and order. What follows is a journey into hell and a desperate battle against all odds for the very survival of the human race.
Alix Wilton Regan, Philip Brodie, Josh Myers, Craig Stovin, Hiram Bleetman, Marshall Griffin, Rob Oldfield, Russell Jones, Jonnie Hurn, Okorie Chukwu, AJ Williams, Joshua Dunlop Toby Bowman, Vicky Araico, and Criselda Cabitac.
Check out the trailer after the break and don't forget to read our set visit and interview with the creators.

i can never play your trailers...is it me or is there something wrong<<<<<<<<?
EV (1 year ago) Reply
Me neither. Think it's a firefox thing, as they play ok with explorer.
coelacanth1938 (1 year ago) Reply
Un-huh. I ain't buying this one. I remember the original Zombie Diaries all too well: Without a doubt the worst film since Ed Wood was loose upon the Earth.

I use firefox and it's fine. Never had a problem.
ReplicA (1 year ago) Reply
This TYPE of player is the problem for me. They use it on Bloodydisgusting too. All you gotta do is disable adblock for the start of the video, then enable it again.

I just went over to Dread Central in the end to play it. This player is awful. Anyway trailer looks good.
agentorange (1 year ago) Reply
Dread Central uses the same exact player mooset. Served by the same company. So I don't know what you're rpoblem is, but it's your problem.

If you are using Firefox you probably have Adblock Plus as well ... You need to allow adverts on Quietearth.us to view some trailers.

The trailer is much better quality over on youtube. God knows what you guys have done with re-encoding it or whatever but it looks terrible here. Check out elsewhere. Trailer kick's zombie ass!
agentorange (1 year ago) Reply
It was here before it was on youtube. Now that a better quality trailer is out I've replaced it. So you can relax and take a deep breath now and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

the first one was rad, i hope this one doesn't have a soundtrack. also, who the hell is designing the covers for these, they're awful and don't do justice to the first one, anyway.

oh no, not another one!! great cover art but suck butt movie for the 1st diary... and it looks like this one is going to be the same... great cover so the movie will probably suck... they need to let their graphic artist make the movie!!!
