What's there really to say about this weird Terry Gilliam project? It's carnivalesque and seemingly inspired by Italian cinema of the past. Yep, The Whollly Family is what you get when a pasta company (Garofalo) spends money on a Terry Gilliam movie.

The synopsis is simply: "An American family in the streets of Naples."

I guess this trailer for the short (via: /Film) has been around for a week or so. Not sure how I missed it, but here it is finally for your enjoyment.

Watch the teaser trailer for Terry Gilliam's Wholly Family after the break.

I dunno, I'd watch it. Terry Gilliam's stuff isn't the most accessible, but it's always been worth the effort for me.
