Director J.J. Abrams has turned viral marketing into an art form and what he (and I'm sure his marketing team) did for Super 8 was no exception. Most interestingly was how he engaged movie sites by sending out Super 8 canisters with sections of film. These clips were to be added to the site http://www.super8-movie.com and when put together they would make a full clip and reveal some sort of secret... well that day is upon us!

Synopsis:
In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth, something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined.

Super 8 is out this weekend in theatres everywhere.
