For his directorial debut, English actor turned director Dexter Fletcher isn't holding back any punches instead choosing to dive right into the underbelly of London life.

Charlie Creed-Miles stars as Bill, the titular character of Wild Bill. Recently paroled from prison after an eight year stint, he's out and determined to stay clean of the law but its proving to be more difficult than he had expected.

He returns home to find that his ex-wife has abandoned their two sons. Fifteen year old Dean (Son of Rambow's Will Poulter) and eleven year old Jimmy (Attack the Block's Sammy Williams) are independent and managing well on their own but when social services comes knocking, the trio is thrown together under the guise of happy family. Between playing dad to two boys he doesn't know and the pressures of a criminal life which is at every turn, Bill is finding it difficult to stay afloat.

This main cast is already impressive but Fletcher's debut also includes the talents of Andy Serkis, Leo Gregory and Neil Maskell. Wild Bill looks exceptionally good; definitely one to keep high on the radar.
