Severin Films will release British cult comedy series Snuff Box on DVD October 11, 2011. Written by and starring Matt Berry (The IT Crowd) and Rich Fulcher (The Mighty Boosh), Snuff Box has been lauded as “a work of demented genius…Snuff Box is the greatest sketch comedy show you’ve never heard of.”

Snuff Box premiered in the UK on BBC3 in 2006 and has since developed cult status worldwide, attracting millions of views on Youtube. The acclaimed series follows professional hangmen Matt Berry and Rich Fulcher as they down whiskeys at the Hangmen’s Club, experience awkward moments, charm women, navigate a long white hallway, and repeatedly attempt to acquire a pair of silver cowboy boots. Darkly hilarious, Snuff Box is a genre-bending hybrid of sitcom and sketch, known for its unforgettable musical numbers such as Rapper with a Baby and the legendary The Empty Room.


The DVD release contains all six Snuff Box episodes and a trunk full of special features including: an all-new documentary featuring Snuff Box celebrity superfans such as Paul Rudd, Simon Pegg and Noel Fielding; audio commentaries for episodes 1, 2 and 6; a walking tour of Snuff Box locations; a look into the show's musical process; and a bonus CD of the Snuff Box original soundtrack.

Snuff Box DVD will be available in stores on Tuesday, October 11.
