Christopher Webster [Celluloid 09.16.11] post apocalyptic zombies movie trailer news

The first teaser trailer has arrived for the third part in the uber popular virus saga, REC! We're hearing that this next installment covers events prior to the first [REC] and reveals the source of the horrific infection that is currently ravaging the world.

Here's the beef form the production:
It’s new, it’s different, it’s the reinvention of the saga! What you’ve all been waiting for! The virus has left the building… Run, flee and don’t look back. With this latest film, director Paco Plaza is pumping new blood into the [REC] franchise.

The third chapter of the saga will have spectators back on the edge of their seats with more action and more humour that will take us back to the essence of the first film: true to life characters and scenarios that the audience can’t help but relate to. The happiest day of your life.

I have a bad feeling REC has jumped the shark and now they are just cashing in on its popularity. I really hope I am wrong and this is another good addition to the RED series of movies ???

What? whats with all of these stupid ppl commenting? This trailer looks fantastic! The creators of REC are pure artists. The juxtaposition of a wedding and zombies is sheer genius. As a trailer editor my self I love seeing trailers not made in the USA they are always so fresh and don't follow shitty conventional rules, allowing the editors to experiment more.
