11 minutes of footage will be added to Sylvester Stallone's mega-hit The Expendables when The Expendables Extended Director's Cut hits stores on December 13th, 2011. Yup, that's just in time for Christmas, girlfriends and wives.

The new version of the film includes:
11 additional minutes over the original theatrical cut, a newly recorded introduction by its writer, director & star Sylvester Stallone, a featurette on Stallone and his directing career, 'Inferno,' a feature-length behind-the-scenes documentary on the filmmaking process from Stallone's distinctive point of view, Spike TV program 'Action: The Expendables"

Personally, I like The Expendables a lot. It feels a little under developed but I've seen it three times now and I've had a blast on every ride.

Sorry, but this was a lifeless action film. I was never moved to the edge of my seat or cared one iota for any character in this film. It seemed like I was watching someone else's paid vacation. rnrnReally, please explain Arnie's cameo! It did nothing for the film at all, and just derailed any semblance of plot or action. rnrnWill 11 minutes pad this out to make any difference or just add more gore and titties?':
