agentorange [Celluloid 10.14.11] Canada movie news scifi fantasy

Anchor Bay announced that they will release Black Fawn Film’s Canadian Psycho-Thriller NEVERlost on DVD in Canada. Directed by Chad Archibald, the film had it’s world premiere to a sold out crowd at last year's Fantasia Film Festival before winning an audience award in the “Best Canadian Feature” category. The film went on to gain positive reviews and travelled the festival circuit from Toronto to Taiwan.

Along with NEVERlost, Anchor Bay, through a partnership with Raven Banner, also acquired rights to Black Fawn Film’s Trish Stratus action flick Bounty Hunters and the post apocalyptic The Collapsed which also do not have official street dates yet.


Synopsis:
After losing Kate, his high school sweetheart, in a horrific house fire Josh Higgins' life tumbles into a depressing mix of insomnia and poor choices. After taking seemingly harmless sleeping pill, Josh is thrust from his current banal existence to one that he had lost years earlier. As the walls of his own psychosis slowly start to close in around him, Josh must race to save himself, Kate and the parallel life that he vows can never again become...lost.

A official release date has not yet been set, but as you can see below we have been sent some fancy new, quote-heavy key art the film.
