Non-stop, face smashing, over-ther-top action and violence. In so many ways this film is a pulpy hat-tip to Robert E. Howards' stories and in many other ways it totally misses the mark. Me, I loved it and am relishing the thought of bringing the hard-R fantasy mayhem home on Blu-ray November 22, 2011.
Extra material on the disc will include a commentary with director Marcus Nispel, a second commentary with stars Jason Momoa and Rose McGowan, and featurettes ("The Conan Legacy", "Robert E Howard: The Man Who Would Be Conan", "Battle Royal: Engineering the Action", "Staging the Fights").
