Considering Steve McQueen’s second film has been officially slapped with an NC-17 rating, I'm surprised this second trailer for the film isn't a red band. I mean, you may as well go all the way. Other than that, Shame, which seems the great Michael Fassbender as a functioning sex addict in a downward spiral, looks like quite a powerhouse of a film.

Synopsis:
Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a New Yorker who shuns intimacy with women but feeds his desires with a compulsive addiction to sex. When his wayward younger sister (Carey Mulligan) moves into his apartment stirring memories of their shared painful past, Brandon's insular life spirals out of control.

Shame is still wondering the fest circuit (in fact, we've got a review from LIFF coming very soon here), but should hit an arthouse-near-you before awards season ends.
