Nobody does the PA genre quite like the Aussies and if the creators of P.A.M have anything to say about it, we'll be getting another journey through the apocalyptic outback real soon. Currently angling to turn their gritty 17 minute short into a feature, we've got the fine looking trailer to share in the hopes that news will spread.
Synopsis:
Post Apocalyptic Man tells the story of a resistance cell's drive for revenge against a totalitarian empire. It's a journey across a post apocalyptic outback to protect research that could be humanities only hope of survival.
Shades of westerns and Book of Eli abound in this feature is described as "a genre mashup akin to a post-apocalyptic Star Wars meets Mad Max... and a balls-out quest film." Sounds awesome.
P.A.M is directed by Nathan Phillips and was written by
Daniel Walsh. It stars Damian Walshe-Howling, Michael Dorman, Angus Sampson, , Samantha Harris, Thomas Wright, Declan Mcgovern, Ben Prendergast and Samir Malik.
