quietearth [Celluloid 12.19.11] scifi horror action

The Asylum is famous for copying big blockbuster films and beating them to your local video store via dvd. They turned I am Legend into I am Omega. However, every now and then they pull from the cinematic zeitgeist and do zombie apocalypses, or in this case, nazis. We've got some production stills for you, but be warned, we only yanked the cool looking ones. As with any other Asylum "productions", the production values are terrible. The DVD is due on April 24th, 2012.

Synopsis:
Researchers in Antarctica are abducted by a team of masked storm troopers. They are dragged deep underground to a hidden continent in the center of the earth. Here Nazi survivors, their bodies a horrifying patchwork of decaying and regenerated flesh, are planning for the revival of the Third Reich.


Starring Staring Dominique Swain and Jake Busey? Nice!

With all due respect, I would give the film a chance and actually SEE this one before berating its "terrible" production values. You MIGHT be surprised. And if not, thanks for being fair and giving it an honest looksee first. (In the interest of full disclosure, yes I'm the director and a tad biased... I do understand the reputation of the house. I also know the honest team-wide effort that went into making this one. Feel free to ask me about it sometime. Or listen to the commentary. ;-) )
