agentorange [Celluloid 12.19.11] movie news scifi

I don't know if this is a first, but a trailer has premiered for The Prometheus trailer. Yep, in three days we'll get a high-def look Ridley Scott's return to scifi horror and (maybe) the Alien franchise.

Synopsis:
Ridley Scott, director of "Alien" and "Blade Runner," returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

The trailer will hit in three days and we'll be sure to post it here.

Prometheus hits theaters on June 8, 2012.

I'm going to give the trailer a miss.
I want to be in the dark when I see it.
Alien is fav film. Can't wait to see this.
