I'm not exactly sure what we puny humans could have done to deserve this lyrical alien invasion, but according to creators Julian Cooke and Sebastian Dias the short is called New Media and "this time it is our own fault: We've created New Media".
The plot may make no sense whatsoever, but there's no denying that this is a great looking short full of awesome giant floating squidies.
