Apparently El Fin (The End) is about the impending end of the world, but you wouldn't know it from this non-subtitled trailer that's all sappy music over heartwarming scenes of friendship and pallin' around. Of course, in light of the glut of apocalypse films that predict humans would go all agro in light of the apocalypse, a more positive outlook on human nature might be in order too.
The film comes from young Costa Rican writer-director Miguel Gomez and is headed for a late February theatrical release in Costa Rica.
Synopsis:
Set on the last day on Earth, with the planet's population fully aware that a giant asteroid is on a collision course with the planet and there is no way out, the film tracks two friends trying to simply finishing things up on a good note.
