quietearth [Celluloid 01.25.12] Finland scifi comedy

"Zat is not a computer, ZIS is a computer! Do I really need to say anything? We've been waiting on this flick forever but I have a question, why isn't this premiering at Sundance or Cannes? Did part of their multi-headed financing deal require a release in Europe first or is there some problem with it?

Watch another teaser here and in case you missed it, the synopsis: Towards the end of World War II the staff of SS officer Hans Kammler made a significant breakthrough in anti-gravity. From a secret base built in the Antarctic, the first Nazi spaceships were launched in late ‘45 to found the military base Schwarze Sonne (Black Sun) on the dark side of the Moon. This base was to build a powerful invasion fleet and return to take over the Earth once the time was right. Now it’s 2018, the Nazi invasion is on its way and the world is goose-stepping towards its doom.

Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it. Just the scene with the Nazi UFOs coming out of the space-Zeppelins will be worth the price of admission alone.
