This succinct story of two twins attempting to emerge from a metaphorical bomb shelter due to their lack of life experience felt terse in it's rendition. Wholly one dimensional and lacking in character development, the story didn't stray from the subject matter: a control freak and a confused young man wearing women's clothing.
With a brief introduction to the twins, one of each sex, we find their life revolves around taking care of their invalid mother. The girl has a crush on our antagonist, or as I like to call him, the "smooth operator", but this leads nowhere even after throwing herself at him.
Fast forward to act two and the smooth operator is taking the 17 year old boy out on the town while wearing women's clothing. You can easily guess things go downhill from here, and this is the whole point of the movie. There's really nothing to it.
Unconditional did not live up to the sexiness portrayed in the trailer, let alone the poster and unless you're interested in an unoriginal cross-dressing story of madness, don't bother.

This is a bit harsh! Actually never mind a bit, a LOT! I've seen this and think it's freakin' brilliant, you are missing the british humor my friend. Far from being 'nothing to it' the film has an dark edge and Christian Cooke is excellent.
