If Wes Anderson had some balls he might have made a film like Funeral Kings, a coming-of-ager that looks to have equal parts bark and bite, comedy and drama. It also stars Kevin Corrigan as a guy who knows what pu**y feels like, so we're in.

Funeral Kings was written and directed by Kevin and Matthew McManus and was an official selection of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

Synopsis:
It's always a good day for a funeral at St. Mark's Middle School. Andy and Charlie, two altar servers, don't just get to miss class anytime a parishioner kicks the bucket, they cut out early and play hooky as soon as the service is over. Eventually their irreverent personalities will put them in a situation that is too big for them to handle.

Kevin and Matthew McManus have written and directed several award winning short films. Funeral Kings is the McManus Brothers' debut feature.

Funeral Kings stars Dylan Hartigan, Alex Maizus, Jordan Puzzo, Charles Odei, Kevin Corrigan, Michaela McManus, Michael Delaney, PJ McCabe, Dan Perrault, Sarah Baldwin
