Get in touch if you'd like your project showcased!] This student made short film has a strong Gilliam-esque influence and is one of five finalists for a Student Academy Award. Based in a foggy post apocalyptic wasteland, a father and son team build a flying machine to see whats above the perpetual fog. From student writer/director Jamie stone, this incredible looking piece has a steampunk feel with a British lilt. It's currently being developed into a feature. Stranded in a foggy post apocalyptic wasteland, a father GIDEON and his son BLUE build a flying machine to see above the clouds.

But Blue has lost faith in his father's crackpot dream; their flying attempts are becoming too dangerous and he is sure there is nothing but cloud in the sky.

So Blue hatches a plan to keep his father on the ground...

A mix of both I guess. I was thinking Holy Grail and Jabberwocky.
