The Festival del Film Locarno. which runs annually in Locarno, Switzerland remains one of my personal favorite fests (which I've unfortunately never been unable to attend) due to the weird shit they play like Davide Manuli's first film Beket and this-kid-who-lives-in-the-trees flick named Ivul.
The full lineup today, and it has so many world premiers, I got tired of counting. There's 13 alone in the international competition. We have a listing of the major sections below and you can buy tickets and check out the full lineup at the fests website.
