It's been in the works since 2008 with additional details released in 2010 and now, four years since it's original conception, we see what Warner Brothers and Bryan Singer had in store for us with H+. The trailer certainly suggested good things and now that the first two episodes have gone live, we get a feel for the series.
The first two episodes certainly suggest good things but I'm not sure how this will work out. I expected each episode to be about 10 minutes but instead, the first is 7 minutes long and the second is less than four (factoring out the credits). Not a whole lot of story plays out in that much time and I have a feeling this may end up as one of those series that I tune into once a month and watch a few episodes at a time.
Two new episodes will be released each Wednesday at noon (PT) with the final instalments going live in January 2013.
You can watch the first two episodes below and subscribe to the H+ series YouTube channel for future instalments. And if you need a few details on the plot, you can ready the synopsis below though the first episode sets things up nicely.
H+: The Digital Series takes viewers on a journey into an apocalyptic future where technology has begun to spiral out of control... a future where 33% of the world's population has retired its cell phones and laptops in favor of a stunning new device - an implanted computer system called H+.
This tiny tool allows the user's own mind and nervous system to be connected to the Internet 24 hours a day. But something else is coming... something dark and vicious... and within seconds, billions of people will be dead... opening the door to radical changes in the political and social landscape of the planet - prompting survivors to make sense of what went wrong.

And I get "The uploader has not made this video available in your country" Thanks a lot

That SUCKS. I didn't realize they'd geoblocked. Canada usually gets shafted so when it worked for me I was pretty excited. Didn't cross my mind they'd block others.

Strangely this isn't geoblocked in New Zealand - that's gota be a first.

http://wikigaming.blogspot.com/2011/06/youtube-video-tricks-revealed.html hopefully that helps. I use TOR sometimes to get around that geoblocked bullshit

Excellent production values for a web series, and an intriguing concept. I've seen much worse on television. The only problem is the eight minute episodes every week. That's worse than watching a cable channel like A&E or AMC who barley gives you ten minutes between commercials. My wife suggested we wait a few weeks and watch three in a row, but I still like the idea of a weekly show. Looking forward to seeing where this goes.

yeah I think i'll wait for more episodes before watching this.
Episode 2 is only 3minute (I don't count the 1minute of credits at the end.)

Works in Norway too. Where's it blocked?
rek (10 months ago) Reply
I thought I was missing something, but episodes really are only 3 minutes? That's disappointing.

works fine in Brazil too. Too Short buts damn cool!

I could see it in Australia... looks good, but would be nice if it were longer.
donc48 (10 months ago) Reply
@Wa5 new episodes are on YouTube every Weds. If this is like most web series you'll get four or five minute episodes. When they get enough in the can they will offer a longer segments for $$$.

Thanks spacedninja for the workaround via wikigaming, much appreciated. I'm geoblocked in France. Wonder if it's blocked in Ireland given the racist comment about the inventor in the first episode? It is well done, but agree about the duration, 2.58 for episode 2 is shortchanging us.

For those struggling with the Geo block just download Hide IP and change your ip to one that works.
