After the first, somewhat plodding and grandiose trailer for the Wachowskies Cloud Atlas I was a little skeptical that the ambitious film would be able to coalesce its parts into a story that made sense on film. But this new trailer does a much better job of connecting the the tissue of the story for people (like myself) who are not farmiliar with the book. I seriously can't wait to see this now.

Cloud Atlas is an adaptation of the 2004 novel by David Mitchell and is directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski and Tom Tykwer (Run Lola Run).

Cloud Atlas stars Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, Ben Whishaw, James D’Arcy, Xun Zhou, Keith David and David Gyasi.

Cloud Atlas hits theaters on October 26.

I've said this before, it looks delightfully convoluted (even with the dots connected,) like The Fountain. I can't wait.

Connecting the dots? Where? In this trailer all is the same as in previous trailer and story is understandable on the same level.
