Marina Antunes [Celluloid 09.04.12] horror thriller



When we first posted a poster and some behind the scenes images from the UK thriller Tower Block, the movie had already generated some healthy buzz thanks to its casting of some up-and-coming British talents and marking James Nunn's move from second unit director to leading the charge.

With its recent debut at FrightFest to adoring crowds, a trailer for the movie has hit the net and boy, is it ever good. Even with intercuts of praise, it's clear that Tower Block will deliver on its promise as an excellent thriller and boy, are we excited to check it out.


There's much praise for TV veteranss Sheridan Smith and Jack O'Connell and along with this trailer and a fantastic plot of a group of individuals who witnessed a murder a year before and are now finding themselves the targets of a sniper, this is high on the must see list.

Brits will have a chance to take the movie in when it opens on September 21st as for the rest of us, we'll just have to wait it out and hope that someone decides it's good enough for international audiences.

From the UK, I want to see this one and Community. I just wish these films would find release dates in Norte Americano.
