We often cover cool yet hard to find projects that never see either VOD or theatrical release. Well here's your chance to take in some good looking sci fi that you won't have a chance to see on the big screen or pick-up at your local video store.

We first covered Project London in 2010. The low budget, crowd sourced project which we described as Firefly by way of Robotech has been in post production for the last few years and now that it's finished, the filmmakers want to give you the chance to see it.

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched for Project London, aiming to raise funds for the pressings of DVD, Blu-ray and soundtrack of the movie and for as little as $20, you can get yourself a shinny copy of the movie, the trailer for which shows some really spectacular effects sequences, made that much more special by the knowledge that they were put together by talented volunteers. It's like an Amazon pre-order by way of crowd funding.

I know what I want for Christmas.
