You want more you say? More giant monster vs. giant robot action? Well then you're in luck.
A new trailer for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim has emerged at CES and though it features much of the same footage from the last trailer, there's also a little bit of new material. This trailer is a little less bombastic than its predecessor, though not by much, and the opening scene gives us a slightly better look at the monsters that emerged from under the sea.
There's also a slightly better look at the robots in action and I must say, it's a nice relief to actually be able to see them in action rather than the frantic, quick editing which made the Transformers movie such a bore (among other problems). You could hardly tell what was going on or what the robots in that franchise looked like in action. Del Toro appears to have a far better sensibility for capturing action sequences.
Get ready. The robots will appear on July 12th.

Guillermo Del Toro is a great director, this movie looks like a transformer movie with a lot of intelligence in more and I'm sure will be a great tribute to the films of the 60s and 70s (Godzilla, Gamera and company)

I have to confess I had low hopes and was not planning on seeing this when it started it run. Now I am pondering on seeing it when it comes out. It looks like more creature feature goodness. Am I about to have my heart broken again?
