It's been a few months since the arrival of the first trailer for Keanu Reeves' directorial debut Man of Tai Chi but Universal is getting the marketing machine into gear for what I hope will be a late year release. They've released a new trailer and where the first focused mostly on international stars Karen Mok, Simon Yam (Ip Man) and Iko Uwais (The Raid), this new trailer focuses mostly on Tiger Hu Chen, a stunt man turned actor who seems to be at the center of the story, and Reeves who will likely be the big draw (or at least the most familiar face) for North American audiences.

The new trailer doesn't feature a lot of new footage but the editing makes it feel like a a movie with a story rather than just a collection of awesome action sequences, though there's certainly a nice look at those as well.

Man of Tai Chi doesn't have a release date at the moment but hopefully more information will arise in the coming months.
