The honeymoon. A time of celebration and happiness that is either full of relaxation or sight seeing. For Bea and Paul, honeymoon means spending time alone in a cabin, enjoying a few weeks of peace and quiet before starting their life together. Except when things stop being relaxing.

From the get go, the trailer for Leigh Janiak's directorial debut Honeymoon seems to be a little off kilter. The music is slow and moody and despite the light and lush surroundings, there's something eerie lurking just beyond the corner of the screen. It's a quiet affair, a trailer with very little dialogue but when Bea asks Paul an odd question, one I had to rewind the trailer three times to catch, you just know something's not quite right.

Honeymoon, which stars Harry Treadaway (of Cockneys vs Zombies and the upcoming Penny Dreadful) and Rose Leslie (of Game of Thrones) as the newlyweds, will have it's world premiere at SXSW later this week. If all goes well, we should have a chance to see it later in the year. Boy does it look promising.
