In our chat with Wolf Creek 2 (review) director last week, Greg McLean was quite excited about the prospect of continuing to make movies and not taking another long break between projects and though he's still in the midst of finishing up 6 Miranda Drive he's not taking a break having just lined up his next project.

For the first time, McLean will be directing a project he didn't have a hand in writing as the script for Jungle comes from Justin Monjo who adapted the story from Yossi Ghinsberg's memoir "Lost in the Jungle." Ghinsberg is an adventurer best known for surviving alone in an uncharted part of the Bolivian Amazon for three weeks in the early 1980s and his memoir is a retelling of those three weeks.

McLean sounded ready to tackle pretty much any new adventure and Jungle will prove to be just that as it will likely involve shooting in some exotic and not so easy to navigate territory.
