Marina Antunes [Celluloid 03.24.15] Netherlands scifi

This week's must see video comes at us care of Dutch commercials producer PostPanic. The company has been making visually stylish commercials for years but they recently launched a film and television division and with it, a nearly 15 minute proof of concept video that has more wow moments than anything you've seen since Ruairi Robinson's breathtaking, and soon to be feature film, The Leviathan.

Directed by Mischa Rozema, the co-founder and creative director of PostPanic, Sundays is an ambitious pensive bit of sci-fi, the story of Ben (Brian Petsos), a man who slowly begins to realise that Isabelle (Sofia Sisniega), the only woman he has ever loved, is missing from his life and he sets off to find her in the nearly-unrecognizable Mexico City of the near future.

It's an ambitious project and the kind of thing I wish we could see on the big screen because the visuals just scream to be seen as big as possible. It's stunning stuff and definitely a fantastic concept for a universe that is begging to be explored. There doesn't seem to be the same level of outcry to have Sundays turned into a feature but there should be!
