Marina Antunes [Celluloid 05.15.15] scifi thriller

It's been wowing crowds at festivals for over a year and for good reason: it's a great yarn. Bradley King's time travel tale Time Lapse, which I enjoyed, is much more concerned with drama and the characters at the centre of the story than it is with time travel itself. That's not to say that there isn't some mind bending time warping going on, there's plenty of that when you start to unfold the layers, but it's all beautifully and simply laid out to propel the story forward.

Earlier this week I had the opportunity to speak with King, who directed and co-wrote the movie, about the concept for the story, finding the perfect cast and just how they managed to keep the story on track.

Time Lapse opens theatrically and is available on VOD today.
