Dominic Monaghan has been involved in some of the biggest and most influential projects in film and television. From his role as a Hobbit in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy to playing troubled musician Charlie Pace on TV's LOST, the actor has become well known across the globe.

Managhan is also no stranger to independent projects. We've tracked his work in films like I Sell the Dead and the post-apocalyptic thriller The Day.

His latest film is an independent family film Molly Moon and the Incredible Book of Hypnotism. It hits limited theatres and VOD August 14, 2015 (today) and I had the opportunity to chat with the actor about his first role as a bad guy, the film he's shooting now called Pet, his love of Game of Thrones and more.

If you have a family check out Molly Moon, it's a solid family film with a great British cast.
