Christopher Webster [Celluloid 11.19.15] scifi thriller

The official teaser trailer for Hulu's original series adaptation of Stephen King's popular time travel novel, "11/22/63" has dropped and, as a fan of the book, I think it looks pretty great. The nine-hour limited event series premieres Presidents Day, Feb. 15, 2016, on Hulu.

The limited series is executive produced by J.J. Abrams and stars James Franco, Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, Sarah Gadon, Daniel Webber and Cherry Jones.

Here's the official synopsis:
High school English teacher Jake Epping (James Franco) travels back in time to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy — but his mission is threatened by Lee Harvey Oswald, falling in love and the past itself, which doesn’t want to be changed.

The show seems to have that sartorially slick Mad Men aesthetic down and I'm glad it's only 8 eps. So, who's looking forward to this one? Any fans of the book out there?

Recommended Release: 11/22/63
