John Connor [Celluloid 01.11.23] horror



Earlier today we posted the trailer for what looks like a terrifying new horror film from Canadian director Kyle Edward Ball called Skinamarink. The film, that has a retro vibe, manages to overcome feeling derivative due to its haunting imagery and very strange otherworldly, cosmic feel.

Now, we wanted to draw your attention to Ball's debut short, a film called "Heck" which was clearly the progenitor of his feature length creation.


Synopsis:
A little kid wakes up in the middle of night to the sound of his mom’s television blaring.
