quietearth [Celluloid 04.02.08] post apocalyptic movie news

I ran across this yesterday and immediately got in touch with the production team behind this, and now that I've received promo stills and a full length synopsis, all I have to say is WOW. "A virus has decimated humanity and left the world in squalor and full of violence. Shawn Kors world is confined to a large white wall and he looks for a way out and a cure to the virus, VXII, until he gets close to the truth." White Wall is directed by newcomer James Boss and written by Vivian Kyinn. The 2 promo stills we have below the break look AMAZING, and if the entire film is shot in this same style I think we are going to have a serious post apocalyptic arthouse film on our hands. More to come in the next few weeks, so check the synopsis and pics following!

"Shawn Kors wishes for a life different than his own. Thanks to the VXII, a virus that decimated the human population, Shawn has only known the world behind the confines of a large white wall. For Shawn, it is a world riddled with violence, betrayal and corruption and the only way to survive is to speak the same language.

As he grows older, Shawn finds a way out. To escape the bad influences of his past, he lives in anonymity and searches for the unlikely cure of the VXII. As he gets closer to the truth, he wins the esteem of his peers and the love of a beautiful medic. Hope springs eternal -- until a war between the militia and a terrorist gang erupts that threatens to pull Shawn back into the world he so longs to leave behind."

Very, very cool. What production company? Or is this a very, *very* independent feature?
