Let's just say that it's wallet denting release weeks like this that make us thankful for Amazon's free shipping policy. We salute you fine purveyors of DVD treats... So yeah, lots of awesome titles hitting store shelves this week including a sweet little re-package of five Dario Argento flicks from Anchor Bay Entertainment (including Phenomena, Tenebre, Do You Like Hitchcock, The Card Player, and Trauma). As well, from the illustrious Criterion Collection, we finally get the award winning 1940s fantasy classic The Thief of Baghdad. Also out this week is Storm, a sweet matrix style actioner from our good friends over at TLA's Danger After Dark. And of course J-Horror flick Noriko's Dinner Table which recently received the official Quiet Earth seal of approval from Ulises, our expert on all things Asian, gets released as well. And of course there's that other "serious" Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. All but forgotten upon release, Cassnadra's Dream wrestles with many of the same themes as Match Point but is just a little less convincing.

Two London brothers are hard-up for cash, and both have girls to look out for, too. When rich Uncle Howard comes to town and agrees to help them out, he admits his finances are under investigation, and he asks them to do him a favor and "take care of" an old business relation to keep his trouble under wraps - he says that they're family, and since he always takes care of them, the least they could do is help him out this once, as they're the only ones he can trust. The film follows their struggle with the immorality of this request and how each brother chooses to deal with it.
