And unfortunately it's not skedded for a November 2009 release. Bruce Willis stars as a cop in a world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots and he's forced to leave his home to find out whose murdering others surrogates. Hmm, sounds like an idealistic ploy to get people outside of their homes. Oops did I just ruin it? This is based on the book of the same name, and while their's not much info on the film, here's the rundown of the book: "The year is 2054, and life has been reduced to a data feed. The fusing of virtual reality and cybernetics has ushered in the era of the personal surrogate, android substitutes that let users interact with the world without ever leaving their homes. It's a perfect world, and it's up to Detectives Harvey Greer and Pete Ford of the Metro Police Department to keep it that way. But to do so they’ll need to stop a techno-terrorist bent on returning society to a time when people lived their lives instead of merely experiencing them." Ahh, so I was right. Sounds good to me!
