Kurando Mitsutake's Samurai Avenger is a sushi western hybrid with lots of samurai action and gunplay, and some zombies thrown in for good measure. Here's a rundown: "It’s about a man who seeks revenge against a villain who took away his sight and slaughtered his wife and daughter. Eight years after the massacre, the blind man returns to the village as a highly trained samurai swordsman for revenge, but he doesn’t know that seven assassins await, hired by the villain and after his head." The film looks like a lot of fun so check it out after the break!

that's one of those things about treating things as cool because of the perceived naffness to be found in them - as soon as people think they're in a position with money and ideas to do something along those lines, all the other elements get thrown out of the window, and despite how unintentionally bad the results can be, well, at least you can rely on some people to still think it's good because it's bad.
lowers the bar to a new level. disgrace.

I think it looks interesting, Spaghetti western with Chambara mix.
The above poster never watched any spaghetti western:

Actually those are archetype Spaghetti Westerns and Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy has more of a Opera-feel too it (and it's of course less crazy, wacky and on a way higher budget then most of 'em). Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf captures the crazyness of Spaghetti Westerns pretty well. I think the soundtrack wasn't too bad too, captures something Italian (of course overproduced as every song is nowadays, I love when is rough and raw). Good Job.

i dont know what he talking about, this film looks really cool, I'm just happy to see a new style emerging, the industry needs to give us something new.

Looks like a clever mix of genres: western, action pick, samurai flick, revenge quest and campy gore-fest. I'd say fans of any of those genres will likely dig it. Can't wait to see how the zombies fit it!

What elements is Mr. nafness talking about? I watched the trailer...and it looks like there is action, love, a quest involved, and a witch in the west...whats not to love? I'll buy my ticket now.
