Christopher Webster [Celluloid 10.08.08] movie news horror

If you're like me and always on the lookout for more outrageous 80s infused rubber monster mayhem, then you'll be glad to know that a sequel to Jon Knautz's Jack Brooks: Monster Slayer is officially in the works. Knautz revealed the news in an interview with Bloody Good Horror saying that we can expect it to be even bigger and badder than the first. Check out what he had to say about the sequel:

With Part 2 now, we're looking to raise quite a bit more money... people will get what they want in this one for sure, if they like the end of the first one...there's already twice as many [monsters] in this one as there was in the first one, and they're way cooler...it's funnier, scarier... as of now it's definitely creepier, more action. All around better.

Sounds good to me, and you can check out QE's review here.
