Last time we unknowingly brought you the conceptual teaser for this fantastical comedy of sexual deviancy and robbering hood, but now the real thing has dropped, and it's really, REALLY NSFW. I repeat, DO NOT WATCH THIS AT WORK, it's got lots of boobies!
Set some time in the undeterminable past: Emily is sent to work and live in his excellency's castle. She manages to escape into the woods, where she meets some lively hookers. Together they become Robber Girls taking a stand and fighting the patriarchy.
Enjoy it in all it's insane splendor, we should be getting an English subbed version soon. Official website with trailer

wow, first OTTO and now this. what's happening to QE? it used to be a reliable site for obscure genre films but this is just porn posing as film. like OTTO or even as far back as CALIGULA, it's plane old porn anyway you slice it.

slang (12 years ago) Reply
Probably not a genre masterpiece but porn?!
Oh, come on. Seems like it's just your average European comedy with some cheap shot humor. Could be fun...

cyberhal (12 years ago) Reply
yeah, judging by the stuff i never look at on the internet, i don't think this qualifies as porn. I defend QE's right to cover naff films as well as brilliant

it says in the beginning "warning to all men! this film could have serious impact on your psyche and virility!"
so ...a very porn-y thing to say. but then they got the standard german movie voice (that you wouldnt get in a porn flick) and then it says it will actually appear in cinemas!
well ...but what kind of cinemas? those nice and cozy 1 person cinemas?? ;)

slang (12 years ago) Reply
First of all, the film is from Switzerland and not Germany. About the cozy 1 person cinemas - this is pretty much a mainstream comedy, the type of stuff that gets a NC17 in the states while it airs uncut after 10pm on German free tv.

Btw it will also be shown on the Solothurn Film Festival. The biggest festival for swiss movies, each year in january. They show about a hundred movies each day during that week, most of them twice during the festival. Robbergirls is even one of ten that have a nomination for the "Prix du public", hmm...

It's a swiss Comedy not Porn.
Greetings from Germany.
